When editing an article what does 'Save' or 'Save & Close' do? |

The Save button

It saves the article and keeps it locked and open in the editor (so nobody else can edit the article)
This is particularly useful for checking what the article looks like in the front end (public) part of the website in a separate window.
The Save & Close button

Your article will be saved, closed and checked in (unlocked so anyone else can edit it)
This is the button to use when finally happy with the finished article.
