SPAMbots are automated programs that search websites for email addresses to harvest
Once harvested, that email address can expect to receive lots of unsolicted marketing emails, or even worse scam emails or emails with virus attachments.
If you wish people to email your own website just create a link to your Contact page (which has a form for sending emails without giving away your email address to everyone)
The person insists their email address is published
There may be instances where somebody has insisted that their email address is published. (Even after sharing the advice above)
All you need to do is type the email address into the article and press enter (or a space after) and it will change it into an email hyperlink.
The simplest way to change an existing email already published in an article is to delete it fully and then to type in the new address followed by Enter or a space.
