The Challenge
The Harbour Parishes were established in 2005 when Passage West Parish and Monkstown Parish, incorporating Monkstown, Ringaskiddy and Shanbally. The website and hosting was kindly donated by a parishioner. Faithful.ie was contacted after the passing of that parishioner to his eternal rest. The challenge was to sensitively acquire control of the domain harbourparishes.ie without needing to approach the grieving family.
The Solution

After investigating where the domain was hosted, Faithful.ie managed to negotiate the release of harbourparishes.ie
A brand new website was created with the following features:
- A simple page clearly showing the Mass times for the four churches of Monkstown, Passage West, Ringaskiddy Oratory and Shanbally
- Publication of Parish Notices and announcements
- Bible readings for today and next Sunday
- The bidding prayers for Sunday Mass from the diocese
- A weekly reflection on Sunday's Gospel
- A place for prayers and videos for reflection
- A section providing details for each of the four churches
- The facility to request a baptism or sacrament of marriage
- The option to give donations safely online
